We would like to welcome you to our site! We own terriers that are registered through the JRTCA and enter trials and shows through which the JRTCA sanctions. If you have never attended a JRTCA trial you are missing out on some great family fun! Just check out their site and see what I mean, it's not a real formal event. We went to one trial and were hooked. That is our son Zachary Below with our first ribbon that Lori King helped us win by showing Cap'n Jack at a Trial in GA. We just wanted a pet for our kids. Little did we know that those first 2 terriers would change our lives! See what you started David and Carol Keener. These little terriers are amazingly smart and just incredible to watch. Whether they are on you lap, chasing a ball or hunting they never cease to amaze.
We live in the small town of Hiddenite, NC located in the foothills region of Western North Carolina. My wife Stacey and I have 4 kids; Zachary 6, Bryson 5, Lanie 4 and Aleia born on 3/13/07. I am the Pastor at Liberty United Methodist Church and as you can guess Stacey is a busy mom in the home. We love the friends that God has brought into our lives through these terriers and look forward to hunting them more. We don't have the desire to ever be a big kennel but we want to produce great Jack Russells that are companions, hunters and champions. I feel that we can produce a versatile terrier that can compete for your lap, GTG, Racing, Conformation and hunting. I have always said that I will show my hunting terriers and hunt my show dogs.
We adhere to the JRTCA Code of Ethics and BAER and Annual CERF test our terriers. We want the reputation of folks that have nice terriers and can be trusted. Just make sure if you are wanting a Jack Russell that you do some research to make sure that they are the dog for you. Jack Russells aren't the dog for everyone. They are so smart, lovable, witty and amaze you with their antics but they are first and foremost a hunting dog. While they are hunting dogs they do make great companions when given the attention they must have.
