10/5/08 -  Stacey and I finally made it to a trial this year. The Carolina's gang did a wonderful job and the weather was great. We got to hang out with so many of our friends that we hadn't seen in sooo long. Jane has the best brownie dessert ever!!!!!

I decided to knock the dust of Abel and show him in the family class. I can promise you he hasn't forgot how to show himself off. He responded by winning the Stud Dog & Get class and then went on to win Best Conformation Family. Thanks to David Keener for allowing me to use Abel's son Towery Pines Trouble and to Diane Wright for letting me use Abel's girl Shingle Oak Gisele in the family class. The day got better. I finally got to show Redstone Jessi after having her in my kennel for almost a year. She has never been shown as an adult so I didn't know what to expect. She presented herself very well and really made me proud. She won a big class of tall girls & then on to win Best Open Bitch and then Open Terrier Conformation Champion. Quite a day for Ms. Jessi in her ring debut. Looking forward to hunting her more this fall & winter. Towery Pines Trouble did well on Sunday being named Res Open Dog...congrats David and Carol. Pictures of Jessi below:

9/10/08 - Towery Pines Trouble (Troon Quarry Abel son) continued his winning ways by going Open Champion in Ga two weeks ago and then went on the next week to work a couple of groundhogs in WV. Way to go David & Trouble.

5/5/08 - Didn't get to go to the Carlina's Spring Classic but did send our little Hart Farms Starr down with Kent and Heather Hayes (a big thanks guys!). Our lives have been so hectic lately that the terriers have taken a back seat. With little stacking practice and little grooming she managed a 3rd place on Sat.  Then on Sunday she won her class and went on to be Res. Best 4-6 month puppy. Thank you David Keener for showing her for us. I am proud of that little girl. Looking forward to being in the ring with her in Tennessee next month. Starr's littermaate, Hart Farms AnnaBelle a beautiful puppy owned by Cheryl Hart, was Best 4-6 month puppy on Saturday..Congrats to Cheryl and AnnaBelle. Looking at Starr and AnnaBelle I would say the cross between Towery Pines Trouble and Hart Farms Belle Starr was a good one. Speaking of Trouble....Open Terrier Champion on Sunday!!!!! Trouble, sired by Troon Quarry Abel, is doing very well in the ring and now as a sire. Congrats to David and Carol Keener at Towery Pines JRT's. Another congrats goes out to Kent & Heather Hayes of Elk River JRT's with Garon's Chipper winning Res. Working Dog on Sat.
